Asia Cold Chain Show (ACCS) 2015 scheduled from 22-24th July in Bangkok, Thailand at IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Centre got further boost from industry with the support of Federation of Cold Storage Association of India (FCAOI). The Federation has over 8 member state level associations representing thousands of cold storage owners from around India.
FCAOI have appreciated the first-of-its kind initiative to have an international cold chain industry exhibition in Thailand in a federation meeting at Aligarh on 31st January 2015. The associations have agreed to extend their wholehearted support to ACCS 2015 exhibition and put forwarded their suggestions to make the event successful.
“Cold Chain is essential as it reduces food loss, enhances food safety, balances the supply and demand of food and indirectly helps in the growth of the food industry. Growth ofthe market is largely attributed to globalization, which enables the import & export of perishable foods, technological advancements in cold storage and transport, growing preference for frozen foods amongst consumers and the need to reduce food loss in emerging markets such as India, China and ASEAN regions. I am sure, ACCS will work as a catalyst for this fragmented sector and would encourage business and trade development in ASEAN region” said Shri Mahendra Swarup, President of Federation of Cold Storage Association of India.
“We are extremely thankful to Shri Mahendra Swarup and FCAOI for supportingthe maiden Asia Cold Chain Show. I am confident that FACOI support will help ACCS become a successful event and talk of the town. Over 100 companies from Thailand and worldwide would exhibit the latest equipment and technology in cold logistics operations” said Anuj Mathur, organiser of Asia Cold Chain Show.
Exclusive travel packages have been negotiated by the organisers for the members of association to make their visit to exhibition smooth and hassle free. More details are available on event website.
